Dr. Jian Chen obtained his bachelor degree in Pharmacy from West China University of Medical Science (West China Center of Medical Sciences, Sichuan University) in 1999. He received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from School of Pharmacy, Fudan University in 2009, and joined the same school as a faculty member after his graduation. Dr. Chen was appointed as the lecturer of the Department of Radiopharmacy at School of Pharmacy, Fudan University in 2009. He is a member of the Key Laboratory of Smart Drug Delivery (Fudan University), Ministry of Education, and a member of the China Nuclear Society (experimental nuclear medicine and nuclear pharmacy). Dr. Chen is engaged in scientific research about the radiolabeled molecular imaging probe of tumor and brain, and the application of radionuclide tracer technique in smart drug delivery system.

Research Interests and Track Record
Dr. Jian Chen’s research focuses on tumor radio-imaging agent, self-assembling peptide nanotubes and radioisotope tracer technique. He mastered a lot of nuclear medicine techniques such as labeling and purification of radionuclides (125I、131I、99mTc、18F、3H、14C、177Lu、213Bi、255Ac), radioreceptor assays, radioimmunoassay, autoradiography, labeling and analysis of proteins, peptides, antibody drugs, in vivo imaging of small animals.
