Presently,SPFDU recruits over 100 undergraduates annually. Aiming at cultivating eliteprofessionals, it adopts small class teaching and emphasizes on training of scientificthinking, innovation capability and social responsibility. Since 2012, one national resource sharing course and five Shanghaibrand name courses were recognized, in addition to winning two teachingachievement awards at the provincial level.
