Dr. Hong Li graduated from School of Pharmacy, Shanghai Medical University in 1989. She joined Shanghai Medical University in 1995 and was Associate Professor in 2002.She received her Ph.D. degree in 2006 at School of Pharmacy, University of Fudan. Her research interests include establishing animal model and discovering new agents for inflammatory diseases. She has deeply studied anti-inflammatory effect of tripterine, Ganoderma lucidum, poly glucosides of triptergium wilfordii, Hook. Now she has focused on immune-modulatory effects of polysaccharides extracted from traditional Chinese herb. Polysaccharides extracted form clearing away heat and toxic materials had beneficial effects on various animal models include diabetic nephropathy, acute lung injury and lupus.
