Chen Ying graduated from Shanghai medical university in Medicinal Chemistry in July 1994. Then, she joined the department of organic chemistry as a teaching assistant at School Pharmacy in the same University. In 2000, Dr. Chen obtained her Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from Fudan University. Thereafter, she joined the department of medicinal chemistry and served as an associate professor in 2002 and a professor in 2015, respectively, at School Pharmacy of Fudan University. Meanwhile, as a visiting scholar, she worked at School Pharmacy in University of North Carolina form 2008 to 2009. Her research work mainly focuses on the study of structure modification and optimization of nature product with anti-cancer, and the utility of steroidol as a new resource.
