Dr. Xianfeng Gu obtained her Ph.D. from Peking University in 2004. Following postdoctoral research at the University of Rhode Island and University of Rochester, she joined Fudan University as an assistant professor in 2009. She has been an associate professor at School of Pharmacy, Fudan University since 2012. She is teaching the courses on chemical biology, medicinal chemistry and organic chemistry. Her research interests focus on design and synthesis of fluorescent probes for detecting biological molecules, and already published more than 20 academic papers in peer-review journals, such as Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, Chemical Communications, RSC Advances etc. She has applied more than ten patents and 4 patents have been authorized.
