Dr. Qian Zhang earned a B.A. in medicinal chemistry in 1993 from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University and a Ph.D. in medicinal chemistry in 2004 from Fudan University. Dr. Zhang has been engaged in teaching and researching since she joined the faculty of Fudan University in 1999. The curricula she teaches include in Organic Chemistry and Information Retrieval in Pharmacy for undergraduates, and Heterocyclic Chemistry and Advanced Medicinal Chemistry for graduates. Dr. Zhang’s research interests focus on: (1) design, synthesis and bio-evaluation of protein kinase inhibitors as anti-tumor agents; (2) developing 18-F/11-C labeled small molecular probers as PET tracers for tumor diagnosis. So far, she has over 20 publications as first author or corresponding author and 1 issued patent.
