Professor Dr Qing Mu obtained his Ph.D. from Kunming Institute of botany of Chinese Academy of Science 1999. Now he was assigned as an editorial board member of the journal Phytochemistry Letters. Recent years Dr Mu focused on the chemical constituents against multidrug resistant microbial and anticancer compounds from plants of Chinese traditional medicines and ethnobotanical herbs. Professor Mu had formed a special research on natural inhibitors against multi drug resistance Methecilin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MDR MRSA) and found three efflux pump inhibitors from natural products. Now having established bioassay technique platform in his group, professor Mu engaged himself on the studies of synergetic natural substances from Chinese traditional medicines or medicinal herbs against multi drug resistant microbials. Based on natural occurring leading compounds, Professor Mu also synthese cyclic peptides for anti-drug resistant tumor. As a inentor professor Mu was authorised 9 Chinese innovation patents and publised 30 papers in SCI journals.
