The master program in Pharmacognosy is an interdisciplinary program that allows students to explore the methodology for quality control of TCMs and sustainable utilization of TCM resources. The core courses are: Selections of Advanced Pharmacognosy, Component Analysis of Crude Drugs, A Brief Introduction to Chemotaxonomy of Medicinal Plants, Research and Development of New Drugs from TCM, Taxonomy of Medicinal Plants, Molecular Markers and Plant Germplasm Resource, and Spectrum Analysis.
