Dr. Zhi-Hong Cheng obtained his Ph.D. from China Pharmaceutical University in 2003. He successively worked as a postdoc fellow in Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry (SIOC) and University of Maryland at College Park. Dr. Cheng joined the faculty of School of Pharmacy, Fudan University as an Associate Professor of Pharmacognosy in 2009. He has co-authored over 70 peer-reviewed papers, hold 5 China patents, and co-written 4 books. He is also an editorial board member of Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics, and Current Analytical Chemistry. He is a committee member of Division of Pharmacognosy, Shanghai Pharmaceutical Association.
