Dr. Guoxun Yang obtained his Ph. D from Fudan University in 2004. Thereafter, he successively worked as lecture and associate professor in Fudan University. His research interest focuses on identification and elucidation active constituents from traditional Chinese medicine, including: 1) to discover novel chemical constituents from herbs; 2) to identify bioactive compounds against inflammation, tumor, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), etc. from natural resources; 3) to optimize the extraction technology for herbal medicines. He has published over 40 papers and applied 7 patents with 4 patents granted.
