The Laboratory Animal Center for Drug Evaluation of School of Pharmacy（LACSP） supports and manages the careand veterinary oversight of laboratory animals used in teaching, drug researchand testing on the Fudan Zhangjiang Campus.

Our goal is to ensure the welfare of laboratory animals through educationand training, as well as provide technical support for pharmaceutical research.

We have got the License for the Use of Laboratory Animals in China andthe License for the Domestication and Breeding of wild Animals under special stateprotection. The LACSP is managed and operated in compliance with the Regulationsfor the Administration of Affairs Concerning Experimental Animals promulgatedby the State Science and Technology Commission.

The LACSP staff is composed of animal care technicians, veterinarians,and managers with specialty training and certifications specific to laboratoryanimal medicine and care. LARC employees are committed to providing a good animalcare and standardized service for animal experiments. This means we not only spreadthe knowledge of animal welfare through our training course but also provideservices in the research of malignant tumors, cardiovascular andcerebrovascular diseases, neuropsychiatric diseases, metabolic diseases,autoimmune diseases and other diseases for drug safety evaluation,pharmacodynamic evaluation, drug metabolism evaluation, etc.
