Dr. Jun Chen obtained his Ph.D. from Fudan University in 2005. He is now a professor and Ph. D. supervisor in Department of Pharmaceutics, School of Pharmacy, Fudan University. His research interests focused on the brain and tumor targeting delivery system. He has worked as the principal investigator of 3 projects from National Nature Science Foundation of China and 2 projects from Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality. He served as a reviewer for the pharmaceutical science journals including ACS Nano, Biomaterials, Molecular Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Research and International Journal of Pharmaceutics. He has now published over 80 research articles including more than 30 first/corresponding author ones, some of which in the first-class journals in the field of pharmaceutical science. He is co-editor of an academic book, and owns two licensed patents. In 2012, he won Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University and Chinese Pharmaceutical Association-Shijiazhuang Yong Pharmaceutics Scientist Awards.
