2017年4月27日至4月28日,新西兰奥克兰大学教授、复旦大学药学院国际兼职教授Peter Shepherd博士到访我院进行为期两天的教学和学术交流。其夫人Rachel Heeney女士陪同访问。
27日上午,在院长助理李聪教授的主持下,Shepherd教授在晶辉厅以“The development of a drug targeting PI3 kinase from the laboratory to clinical trial”为题作精彩的学术报告,介绍基于PI3 kinase抑制剂的抗肿瘤新药研发及所存在的问题,引起在座众多师生们的浓厚兴趣并展开了热烈的讨论。会后,Shepherd夫妇受到王明伟院长的热情接待并共进工作午餐。
28日早上,Shepherd教授来到张江校区第二教学楼2107教室,为2014级本科生所做题为“What is diabetes and what are the current treatments?”的课程讲座,受到了同学们的欢迎。
Professor Peter Shepherd of University of Auckland visits Fudan School of Pharmacy
Professor Peter Shepherd (Professor, The University of Auckland, New Zealand and International Adjunct Professor of Fudan School of Pharmacy) visited the Zhangjiang Campus to perform teaching duties and academic exchanges between April 27 and April 28, 2017. He was accompanied by Ms. Rachel Heeney.
In the morning of April 27, Professor Shepherd delivered an invited lecture entitled "The development of a drug targeting PI3 kinase from the laboratory to clinical trial" at Jinghui Hall which was chaired by Professor Cong Li (Assistant Dean). His talk was enthusiastically received by teachers and graduate students who were present. Thereafter, Professor Shepherd and Ms. Heeney were warmly greeted by Dr. Ming-Wei Wang (Dean) and had a business lunch together.
In the morning of April 28, Professor Shepherd taught a course for the 3rd year undergraduate students covering the topic of "What is diabetes and what are the current treatments" that was well received by the audience.
