2017年3月18日，美国加州大学圣迭戈分校（The University of California, San Diego）药学院院长James McKerrow教授到访复旦药学院，受到院长王明伟研究员等的热情接待。McKerrow教授在科研楼晶晖厅以“Meeting the challenge of developing drugs for neglected tropical diseases”为题做了精彩的学术报告，随后与药学院的师生代表和复旦大学附属儿科医院药剂科李智平主任以圆桌会议的形式进行了交流互动，并共进工作午餐。刚刚参加了2017年皇后镇分子生物学（上海）会议的澳大利亚墨尔本大学医学院Ross Bathgate教授和莫纳什大学药学院Denise Wootten博士也在复旦药学院进行了短暂的停留。
Dr. J. McKerrow from UCSD visits Fudan School of Pharmacy
Professor James McKerrow (Dean, Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, the University of California at San Diego, U.S.A.) visited School of Pharmacy, Fudan University on March 18, 2017. He was warmly greeted by Dr. Ming-Wei Wang (Dean) and his associates. During the visit, Dr. McKerrow delivered a lecture entitled “Meeting the challenge of developing drugs for neglected tropical diseases” at Jinghui Hall which was enthusiastically received by the audience. Thereafter, he had a roundtable discussion with faculty and student representatives, as well as Professor Zhiping Li from the Children’s Hospital affiliated to Fudan University, followed by a business lunch. Professor Ross Bathgate from the University of Melbourne (Australia) and Dr. Denise Wootten from Monash University (Melbourne, Australia) also made a brief stop at Fudan School of Pharmacy after attending the 2017 Queenstown Molecular Biology Meetings in Shanghai.
