2016年3月1日下午，复旦大学药学院长、国家新药筛选中心主任王明伟研究员应邀在加尔各答举行的“化学生物学和药物发现国际论坛”上做大会报告，介绍其研究团队在G蛋白偶联受体结构与功能研究领域所取得的最新成果，受到与会人员的热烈反响。他并与来自印度各地的学生和青年科学家深入交谈，推介中国科学院为“一带一路”沿线国家所设立的国际研究生培养计划。
Dr. Ming-Wei Wang speaks at an international chemical biology conference in India
In the afternoon of March 1, 2016, Professor Ming-Wei Wang, Dean of School of Pharmacy, Fudan University and Director of the National Center for Drug Screening, delivered an invited lecture at the “International Symposium on Chemical Biology and Drug Discovery” held in Kolkata, India. He introduced the latest achievements made by his team in structural and functional studies of G-protein coupled receptors and received enthusiastic responses from the audience. Dr. Wang also made in-depth interactions with students and young scientists from different parts of India promoting the international postgraduate study program of Chinese Academy of Sciences specially set up for countries along “the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road” (i.e., “The Belt and Road” or “B&R”).
