作为建院80周年系列庆祝活动之一，复旦大学药学院于2016年4月26日上午在张江校区行政楼成功举办了第二轮"新聘国际兼职教授学术报告会"，以此谱写了药学院国际化进程的又一篇章。
药学院此次聘任了两位重量级国际学科带头人担任兼职教授，他们是日本京都大学的化学生物学家Motonari Uesugi（上杉志成）博士和美国南加州大学的结构生物学家Raymond C. Stevens博士。王明伟院长致欢迎辞并主持了报告会，两位教授分别做了精彩的学术报告，副院长孙逊教授和副院长王建新教授为他们颁发了聘任证书。据悉，国际兼职教授每年都会来申讲学授课，并在科研上推进合作交流。
The 2nd "International Adjunct Professor Appointment Ceremony" held at Fudan School of Pharmacy
As part of the 80th anniversary celebration, the second round of "International Adjunct Professor Appointment Ceremony" was held at School of Pharmacy, Fudan University in the morning of April 26, 2016. Two world renowned academic leaders, namely, Dr. Motonari Uesugi, a chemical biologist from Kyoto University of Japan, and Dr. Raymond C. Stevens, a structural biologist from University of Southern California of U.S.A., were appointed as Adjunct Professor, respectively, by Fudan School of Pharmacy.
Professor Ming-Wei Wang (Dean) chaired the ceremony and called this event as “a new chapter in school’s internationalization process”. Drs. Uesugi and Stevens delivered their acceptance lectures which were enthusiastically applauded by the audience. Thereafter, Professor Xun Sun (Vice Dean) and Professor Jianxin Wang (Vice Dean) presented the appointment certificates to them.
It is informed that international adjunct professors will visit the school at least once a year to teach or give lectures, in addition to forging research collaborations.
